Located 2-4 kilometers away are shopping malls such as Amcorp Mall, Digital Mall, Sunway Pyramid and Subang Parade. Banking facilities and eateries could be found near Sunway Mentari, having many cuisines and entertainment outlets. The nearest hospitals are Sunway Medical Centre and the Assunta Hospital, both located less than 3 kilometers away.From Impian Seri Setia, there are several schools easily within walking distance. These are SJKC Sungai Way, SK Taman Dato Harun and SMK Taman Medan. The location of the development is strategic as it is located in close proximity to major roads. Nearby, there is the Lebuhraya Damansara – Puchong (LDP), Federal Highway, Old Klang Road , as well as the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).

    Impian Seri Setia is home to approximately 4,000 residents; this translates to very high people density and things could get a bit cramped at times. The location is also facing social issues as the locals say that the building has been “taken over” by the foreigners. The locals also note that the foreigners have been engaging in immoral activities and used condoms could be found around the playground. The locals feel intimidated when entering the lifts which are cramped. There is also the issue of insufficient parking, as the developer is legally required to provide a number of at least half the number of units in the building, +10% for visitors, which is a total of approximately 270. There are only 200 bays resulting in overpricing; the lots were sold at RM5,500 by the developer initially. Subsale prices have reached RM10,000.
