There was one particular incident within Impian Baiduri that made national headlines, and that was when one of the lifts plummeted six floors onto the ground, injuring five persons. This particular incident occurred in Block A. There were also numerous cases of dengue fever within Impian Baiduri for the first half of 2012, where a total of 10 dengue cases were reported. In the year 2006, it was reported that approximately 25% of the residents do not pay the maintenance fees, resulting in lack of maintenance within the premises. The residents also expressed their discontent over the lack of facilities, as there is no surau (prayer room) built for the Muslims, and there is also no playing field for the children.
