According to the police, Damansara has been identified as top crime area. It was revealed by the state police chief DCP Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar, which 16% out of 57,000 crime cases in Selangor took place in Damansara. In order to reduce the crime rate in the neighborhood, the police beat base in SD10 has been upgraded into Bandar Sri Damansara police station located on Persiaran Margosa SD 10/4.
