Taman Greenwood is one of the more established residential townships in Gombak which can be found between the interchanges of Jalan Batu Caves and Karak Highway. The district of Gombak itself borders KL to the South-East and Genting Highlands to the East. Both Gombak and KL, along with some other districts in Selangor, are located within the Klang Valley.There are other residential enclaves that cater to the growing population which can be found near to Taman Greenwood such as Taman Gombak Ria, Taman Samudra and Taman Desa Minang.
