There have been so many issues with the development of Taman Desa Gemilang since the day it was launched. Apparently, the developer Capital Lane Sdn Bhd is not a licensed developer and it has scammed many people into buying units at an unapproved development site of Taman Desa Gemilang. Once the residential is completed and ready for buyers to move in, there are several cases of second and third buyer which was then settled in court.After several years of its completion, the residents have been living there peacefully until each unit received a letter from SYABAS warning them that the water service will be shut down, due to the water bill that the developer failed to settle during the development of Taman Desa Gemilang. The residents had to hire a lawyer and bring the case to court. Since then, all residents are worried that the water service might get shut down at anytime.Despite all of the unavoidable issues, Taman Desa Gemilang does offer a peaceful and tranquil environment as it is situated on top of a hill in Kampung Sungai Pusu, Gombak. Taman Desa Gemilang also has a great value in capital appreciation as the subsale price as of August 2014 starts from RM450,000, compared to its launched price of around RM250,000.
