Playground Analysis
There was a case whereby 52 water meters were stolen in Taman Suria Jaya, Cheras South one Tuesday morning. The residents discovered that their water meters have been stolen after waking up to dry taps in their homes. No one saw the thieves but the residents believed that their water meters have been stolen around 2 to 6 in the morning. However, to have their water meters replaced, residents have to pay RM60.20 for new meters which sparked anger amongst the residents of Taman Suria Jaya as they stated that they as residents could not be there full time to watch over the water meters and why should they pay for meters that were placed outside of their homes. The neighborhood is sited within close proximity to Taman Bukit Cheras which is still surrounded with abundance of greenery – hence providing fresh air to the residents. Besides that, residents can enjoy park facilities at the central park of Alam Damai, located just mere minutes away.
