Desa Temenggung is located just past the northern border of Kuala Lumpur, and it is rather inaccessible due to lack of development. The nearest township is Batu Caves, and driving is preferred for access to anything. Public transportation by bus is available. In terms of investment, the area has seen little appreciation in terms of both rent and subsale price. The locale is under the township of Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ).
