Located at just 20 minutes away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, it is a leasehold development. Being located in the centre of the city gives residents of Taman Seraya many benefits such as access to the best amenities in the city. There are however also many drawbacks to the location, as residents will have to contend with traffic congestion at almost all times of the day. Peak hour traffic congestion is the worst, where all roads leading to and from the neighbourhood are at crawls at best.The neighbourhood of Taman Seraya is one that is generally hustling and bustling, busy throughout the day with the many amenities available in the surrounding area. Common break-ins and thievery are uncommon; although there have been car theft gangs rumored to have their hideout homes in the area. Although located in the middle of the city, property in Taman Seraya is not increasing in value much; most probably due to its leasehold status and the age of the homes. It is not deemed to be a good investment either due to these reasons, although those who work within the city limits will probably find it to be extremely convenient living in this area.
