Located within the grounds of the development is a mini mart, while available to tenants are open air parking lots. There is no visitor parking, a rule that is enforced by the 24-hour security.Residents of Cherry Apartment enjoy good accessibility to many amenities such as shopping malls, with the closest being Ipoh Parade that is only 10 minutes away. Schools are abundant in the area, while banks are also aplenty with a few being within walking distance of the apartments. Residents of Cherry Apartment in Ipoh enjoy particularly good traffic flow throughout the day, an advantage of being located in a small town with very low population. Traffic does slow down perceptibly during peak hours, but gets nowhere close to bad with traffic still steadily moving.The residents do however have their own complaints, as parking lots within the grounds of Cherry Apartment are highly insufficient. Within Block A and Block itself are a total of 192 residential units, but there are only 119 parking lots. Instead of rectifying the problem, the developer then attempted to force residents to purchase parking stickers on a yearly basis, catching many residents unawares and resulting in a scuffle that ended only after policed intervention.The developer since then relaxed the ruling, although many mutinous memories of it still remain with the residents of Cherry Apartment. Despite its excellent location, many investors do not deem it to be a good investment mostly because it is a low cost development. Aside from that, there are many new housing developments in place that would make much better investments.
