Maple Residences is located to the north of Butterworth, quite some distance away from amenities, however the upside to this is that traffic is moderate even at peak hours. Coupled with the fact that the Penang state government has just recently signed a contract with developers to create the undersea tunnel linking Georgetown and Butterworth. In the long haul, the location of Maple Residences would improve tremendously once the tunnel is completed in 10 years time. Easy access to the island itself would create a huge shift in the location factor. All in all, Maple Residences has tremendous potential, as the cheapest property is only priced at RM538,000. Properties in the vicinity could see to a steady appreciation until the completion of the underwater tunnel project.
