In Pearl Villas, there are numerous complaints from its residents. There are many flies in the area regardless of season, due to fact that it was previously an agricultural farm land, also because there is a chicken farm in the vicinity. Others also cite issues such as bad construction quality and balconies cracking after 2 years, There area also drainage issues accompanied by some light flooding in the area.The developer claims that this is a self-sustaining township, and to a certain extent, it is. There are wet markets, outlets available for grocery shopping, but not much else to go on. Despite the bad reviews and comments of netizens, the prices within Pearl Villas has managed to appreciate significantly over the past two years. This could be partly due to property bull market. There is also an active JMB in place to manage the property.
