Arcadia is very close to Gurney Drive and Pulau Tikus town. At Gurney Drive, there is a long stretch of seafront promenade where wide variety of hawker fare can be found. There are also a lot of food courts, restaurants and coffee shops. This will certainly be a great delight for food enthusiasts as they can easily find many good foods that will surely fit their demanding appetite daily. However, Arcadia has a significant drawback. The traffic on both Kelawei Road and Burmah Road is rather heavy. Traffic jam is a rather regular occurrence along the roads, especially during rush hours on weekdays, and sometimes on mid day and weekends as well, as many shoppers will be hanging out in Gurney Plaza. It is fine if you do not drive, as Rapid Penang service is available at this area. Arcadia is served by Rapid Penang Bus No. 103, of course it is better and more convenient if you do possess your own transport.
