Victoria + Albert Baths announced its Victoria + Albert International Design Awards, and all architects, designers, and students are invited to participate. The main task for the competition is to create a concept bathroom space using any of the products of the Victoria + Albert range. The layout of the bathroom should be 2m by 3m or 7’ by 10’ and each entry must include a 150-word description, with at least two project views including a rendering or sketch and a floor plan, using 2D or 3D downloads from the bath company's website. All entries should be submitted in .pdf or .jpeg formats.

All applications will be received by Victoria + Albert Baths online via www.vandabaths.com. The competition is free, has only one prize and is open to all architects, designers and students worldwide. The deadline of the competition is on Dec 20, 2015.

The best design chosen will stand a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Salone del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair) in April next year, including flights, transfers, two nights in a hotel and entry to the exhibition while the winning design will be built at the Victoria + Albert stand at Salone – an amazing opportunity to be exposed to the international design community which will be unveiled on April 12, 2016. Winners will receive exposure from their local region as well.

The Milan Furniture Fair is a  furniture fair held yearly  in Milan and is the biggest  trade fair of its kind in the world. The exhibition is known for showcasing the latest in furniture trends and designs from different countries around the world and is considered a leading venue for the display of new products by furniture and lighting designers.
