Kuala Lumpur: The Fire and Rescue Services announced at 11:30am that the search for the remaining person is suspended as the Royal Malaysian K9 Unit deployed several times since yesterday were unable to detect any further leads.
Investigation is still ongoing to ascertain the cause of the failure and the project team will continue to work closely with the relevant authorities. As at the statement release time, one worker died, five injured and one unaccounted. The five injured workers warded are in stable condition.
The developer has deeply regretted the incident at the Abdullah Hukum project site, and has extended its deepest condolences to families of the deceased and injured.
