PETALING JAYA: Aligning with the goal to develop an affordable Mont Kiara, UEM Sunrise will be launching their next project Kiara Kasih, which is under the Rumah Wilayah Persekutuan (RUMAWIP) scheme.
The project is set to be launched on Mac 20 with the starting price of RM300,000 for a unit.
The announcement was made during the press conferences of UEM Sunrise's Upward Growth Momentum for 2018.
UEM Sunrise Bhd also presented their financial result for the year 2017 (FY2017) with the total revenue recorded at RM2.9mil.
“We are pleased to report that compared to the FY2016, UEM Sunrise experienced a 58% increase in total revenue, the highest that we have achieved since the company was listed in 2008,” said UEM Sunrise Bhd chief executive officer Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib.
Of the total revenue at RM2.9mil, 77% or RM2.24mil of it was contributed by the property development activities.
“The three largest contributors for the year were Aurora Melbourne Central followed by Residensi22 Mont’Kiara and Conservatory,” added Anwar.
Despite exceeding their 2017 gross development (GDV) launch with RM2.0bil (targetted RM1.7bil), the group will remain cautious for 2018 by aiming to launch a total GDV of RM1bil, with most of it consisting of mid-market products like the new phases of Serene Heights Bangi and Kiara Kasih.
