PETALING JAYA: Property developer, Tujuan Gemilang Sdn Bhd, has done it again by scoring a second Fiabci World Prix D’Excellence Award (silver winner for office category) by the renowned Global International Real Estate Federation, which recognises the world’s outstanding real estate developments.
"We are privileged to be given such honour, especially for the development of Point 92 at Damansara Perdana. Our main purpose was to provide a good craftsmanship with bold ideas, and being awarded with the Fiabci World Award twice is a great encouragement for us at Tujuan Gemilang,” says Tujuan Gemiland Sdn Bhd executive chairman Ahmad Khalif Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal.
"We always aim to create projects that challenge convention and push the industry forward. Our previous project, PJ Trade Centre personifies this and was recognised by Global International Real Estate Federation in 2013 when we were awarded as the gold winner for office category.” says Tujuan Gemilang Sdn Bhd executive director Peter Chan.
The Fiabci World Prix D’Excellence is generally regarded as the most prestigious international real estate award and recognises distinctive projects for their excellence in overall concept, architecture and design, development and construction, community benefit, environmental impact, financing as well as marketing.
The award receive submissions from over 60 member countries, where the winners were decided by an array of international panel of experts.
“Point 92 makes an interesting statement as it has also won other accolades including the Arcasia Award (gold), PAM Award (gold), German Design Council Iconic Awards and Fiabci Malaysia Property Award,” adds Khalif.
To date, Tujuan Gemilang is the only developer to win top honours (gold) in the major awards namely Fiabci World, Fiabci Malaysia, Arcasia Awards and PAM Awards.
“Even though Tujuan Gemilang was only established in 2005, we’ve come a long way. We’re pleased that the hard work of the management and staffs have been rewarded by the Malaysian, regional, as well as global awards, and this will fuel our efforts to develop other projects that are more bold and significant,” says Chan.
