KUALA LUMPUR: With its 41-storey twin towers set to dominate the Duta North skyline, the upcoming TuJu @ Duta North project will be a trailblazer with 932 configurable, convenient and comfortable homes. The latest offering in this neighbourhood, this development is establishing itself as the future direction. The layouts and facilities blend harmonious living that is child-safe, senior-friendly and electric vehicle (EV)-ready.

TuJu @ Duta North is developed by Distinctive World Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Distinctive Capital Sdn Bhd and Eccaz Sdn Bhd. The project is strategically located with direct access to the city through Jalan Kuching and to major highways like the Duke Highway, Plus Highway, Sprint Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway, Damansara Link and Penchala Link.

Chief executive officer and executive director Lim Ech Chan explained that TuJu @ Duta North is the culmination of meticulous planning and design to meet the needs and desires of today’s modern generation while taking care of traditional filial needs.

“When we sat down to design these homes, we already knew accessibility to the city was a given with our direct access to Jalan Kuching and to all the highways around here. Our designers set out to create homes where people can live in harmony. So, we begin with the family. To make multi-generational living possible and enjoyable, we provide inter-connectable units and dual-key units.” he said during the media launch at TuJu sales gallery today.

“We try to meet almost every modern home buyer’s desire, so our layout is designed to be configurable. The result is we have 10 options for people to choose from. Not many developers can offer that kind of flexibility. Further, even our basic units can be configured into three rooms from the standard two rooms. Conversely, for those who prefer bigger rooms, our three-roomed units can be configured into two rooms,” added Lim.

TuJu @ Duta North was envisioned to rejuvenate the surrounding Segambut area where Tan Chong Bhd’s Nissan assembly plant was once the industrial landmark. TuJu is set to harmonise and uplift the development trend in the Duta-Segambut zone.

Executive director Monica Lai emphasised that harmonious living is a cornerstone of the design intent. Hence, the project boasts of over 50 facilities that are child-safe and senior-friendly. The senior-friendly features of certain units which are interconnectable to regular units to enable multi-generational living in harmony.

“We also offer disabled-friendly units with dedicated facilities like wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and even panic buttons. There will be panic buttons in common areas and car parks for added security. Additionally, TuJu is electrical-vehicle (EV) ready with the infrastructure already in the design brief to promote sustainability. Owners may apply for their own EV wall boxes subject to the usual terms and approval,” said Lai.

Earthworks and piling work have started on the 4.52-acre site, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM750 million. Strategically located for easy access to key destinations such as KLCC, MITEC, and KL Metropolis, and major highways, TuJu residents will also benefit from a complimentary shuttle service to convenient transit points and Publika Shopping Gallery.

TuJu offers a blend of commercial spaces and residential units, organised into Block A, Block B, and Annexe Block, with both Tower A and Tower B rising to 41 storeys. Tower A and Tower B host a range of recreational amenities spanning Levels 6 and 41, including game rooms, sky dining, a theatre lounge, a computer lounge and various reading lounges.

The Annexe Block offers parking facilities alongside commercial spaces and an array of facilities at Level 9, catering to various recreational needs such as a Workout Terrace, Basketball Court, Badminton Court, Multipurpose Hall, and more.
