PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corporation Bhd (Tropicana) has partnered with Banyan Group from Singapore to develop the Skypark Kepler, a freehold and luxury mixed development at Tropicana’s township Lido Waterfront Boulevard in Johor Bahru. 

The partnership will enable Skypark Kepler to be a Banyan-branded property allowing purchasers access to the group’s exclusive hospitality programmes such as Banyan Sanctuary Club and Banyan Living. 

Skypark Kepler is also the first residential component of the 163-acre Lido Waterfront Boulevard, with 848 fully furnished designer units in two 54-storey towers. The luxury development comes with two to five bedrooms configurations in unit sizing from 680 sq ft to over 2,200 sq ft, fitted in branded furnishings and fittings. Tropicana said this first partnership development with Banyan Group is catered to young professionals and modern families. 

At the private preview event in Singapore attended by 600, Tropicana chief executive officer Ong Chou Wen expressed optimism for Skypark Kepler and the Lido Waterfront Boulevard. 

“Lido is one of our most luxurious projects in Johor and our first branded residential partnership with the world-renowned Banyan Group in building Skypark Kepler residences. The collaboration with global corporations China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and Banyan Group, along with Tropicana’s expertise in the property industry, has proven to be a successful formula. We received a positive response and attracted numerous potential sales leads today,” Ong said.

CSCEC is the development’s main contractor for its first phase. Being a Banyan-branded product, purchasers will be offered access to Banyan Sanctuary Club’s benefits including discounts throughout Banyan Group worldwide and have their properties managed under Banyan Living’s hotel-branded rental and management scheme. 

In addition, Tropicana also will be offering purchasers added value such as Tropicana T Privilege gold membership and reward points, golfers’ perks at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort, Petaling Jaya and Tanjung Puteri Golf and Resort Johor, and T360 app rewards and services. 

Each unit will also be fitted out with luxury fittings and appliances such as Bofi, Bosch, Samsung, Kohler, Duravit, GESSI Hansgrohe, Serta, Sealy and Jung.

In addition to Skypark Kepler, the masterplan of Lido Waterfront Boulevard will feature components such as commercial, wellness, education, hospitality, recreational and other lifestyle offerings, including a 2.5km coastal boardwalk with alfresco dining and a 32-acre green park featuring a cultural centre for community gatherings.
