PETALING JAYA: Riding on SouthPlace Shoppes and Residences’ strong take-up rate of 90%, Tropicana Corporation Bhd (Tropicana) is rolling out its SouthPlace 2 Shoppes and Residences in its 88-acre Metropark, Subang Jaya. The launch came after the announcement that the supermarket Mercato would be SouthPlace Shoppes and Residences’ anchor tenant.
SouthPlace 2 Shoppes and Residences offer 553 serviced apartments and 74 commercial retail lots. The development, which targets a middle-upper community, resides next to a completed 9.2-acre urban park and an international school.
“SouthPlace 2 Shoppes and Residences builds on the success of completed residential offerings such as Pandora, Paloma and Paisley while expanding on SouthPlace Shoppes’ retail offerings with an al fresco commercial concept fronting Tropicana Metropark’s Urban Park,” Tropicana marketing and sales executive director Ixora Ang said.
“We are also proud to welcome Mercato as the upcoming anchor tenant to add more value to this already vibrant neighbourhood,” she added.
Priced from RM506,000, SouthPlace 2 Residences offers build-ups from 583 sq ft to 1,129 sq ft. Units are partially furnished with kitchen cabinets, air-conditioners, water heaters and digital locksets.
The SouthPlace Shoppes units have an average price of RM1.58mil on the first two floors of the 4.4-acre, 38-storey development. The development also has access to the Tropicana Metropark Link to the Federal Highway, along with proximity to healthcare institutions, golf clubs, transportation and more.
