Ang said that the average daily rate in Langkawi is the highest in the country, spurring positive rental yields on short-term rental stays to an average rate of 9% and making Tropicana’s development a good investment decision.
Merissa’s launch followed the success of the previous collection, Assana Serviced Suites where to date it is 90% taken up. Ang said the strong response was also attributed to Tropicana’s robust development DNA, market-driven approach and numerous social engagement activities such as the renovation of the Pantai Kok Rest and Recreation Centre, Tropicana go-go-FIT 3km Beach Fun Run and its support to the Langkawi International Folding Bike Challenge.
