Tropicana Golf & Country Resort hosting a Raya Open House event to 150 children from 3 (three) underprivileged homes.
Petaling Jaya: In conjunction with Hari Raya celebration, Tropicana Golf and Country Resort Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Bhd, hosted a Hari Raya Open House for 150 children from three underprivileged homes yesterday.
TGCR also took this opportunity to contribute RM 10,000 to each orphanage home, namely Pusat Jagaan Kasih Ilahi, Rumah Jagaan Nur Ekhwanku and Rumah Al Yatama Syuhada.

Tan said, “We hope this will improve the lives of the underprivileged children through providing a fund for charitable works in the area of health, education and other non-profit initiatives.”
This cheerful event was held at Grand Ballroom TGCR Clubhouse with sumptuous dinner.

The event also entertained the children with the lively performances of “Helmi the Gimmick”.
There were also activities such as singing, dancing and games of guessing songs.
The management of TGCR also prepared goodie bags with school bags and stationeries for each of the children.
Tan also gave “duit raya” to all of the children who have attended that event.
