PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corporation Bhd (Tropicana) and Banyan Group have signed an agreement to formalise their partnership in developing luxury residence Skypark Kepler in Johor Bahru. Additionally, Tropicana signed brand partnership agreements with Samsung and Kohler to offer luxury fittings, appliances and sanitary wares at the serviced residence.
“With Skypark Kepler, we want to curate transformative experiences for our property purchasers where they can enjoy smart-city living coupled with a luxurious lifestyle within a sustainable environment. We are proud to be partnering with global brands Banyan Group, Samsung and Kohler on our first branded Skypark Kepler residences,” said Tropicana group chief executive officer Datuk Mark Rozario.
Skypark Kepler will be the first residential development at Lido Waterfront Boulevard, a township with a gross development value (GDV) of RM80bil and located less than 5km from the RTS Link, as well as Tropicana’s first collaboration with Banyan Group, Samsung and Kohler. The freehold development will be a Banyan-branded residence, offering purchasers benefits such as the Banyan Living rental programme and the Banyan Sanctuary Club programme worldwide.
“We are pleased to partner with Tropicana to introduce Skypark Kepler Residences, our first in Malaysia. This will be the eighth property in the Skypark portfolio, extending our footprint across Thailand, Vietnam and South Korea and further enhancing our global collection of branded residences. Property owners will enjoy access to Banyan Group's Sanctuary Club, an exclusive owner's programme that offers special privileges and benefits across our hotels, resorts, spas and an array of lifestyle experiences. Additionally, owners can choose to participate in Banyan Living, our rental and management services programme,” said Banyan Group property development managing director Stuart Reading.
Under Tropicana’s collaboration with Samsung, the residence will be integrated with Samsung Bespoke AI appliances and the Moorgen smart home system.
“Our collaboration with Tropicana allows us to demonstrate the capabilities of our Bespoke AI appliances to homeowners, all connected through Samsung’s SmartThings platform, to ensure they enjoy the benefits of an intuitive and connected home environment,” said Samsung Malaysia Electronics president Charles Kim.
Kohler K&B Malaysia country manager Jamie Chow said the brand is excited to partner with Tropicana.
“We believe that this partnership is a step forward in pursuing our mission; to help people live gracious, healthy and sustainable lives. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and timeless designs that inspire the hearts of homes,” she said.
