8km scenic run across Tropicana Heights

Participants ready to race at the 8km Fun Run at Tropicana Heights

KAJANG: Over 600 participants from Klang Valley dusted off their running shoes to dash through the 199-acre development of Tropicana Heights during its recent Fun Run 2017.

The 8km Fun Run, organised by Tropicana Corporation Bhd, was held on Sept 17 at the Tropicana Heights Property Gallery.

According to statement, the 8km Fun Run was conducted around the township and also the development’s green lung, Central Park. After the run, the participants were also given the opportunity to join the lucky draw which prizes included watches, iPods and mobile gadgets.

“The fun part of this 8 km run was the inflatable challenges, which injected a sense of family fun and camaraderie amongst participants.The obstacles were designed to test the vitality and dynamism of the runners while not forgetting the teamwork needed to get through the bouncy inflatables,” said Tropicana Corporation Bhd executive director of marketing and sales Ung Lay Ting.

As the Fun Run took participants through the scenic route, they witnessed the development of Tropicana’s latest range of affordable homes; the Tropicana Urban Homes brand collection that was introduced in July this year.

Tropicana Heights boasts five features, namely its 16-acre Central Park with a 750-meter long lake, recreational hub, market square, sports hangouts and homes that allow residents to have access to their very own private community parks.
