Holistically managed i-Park allows companies to thrive by promoting productivity, comfort and healthy lifestyle

INDUSTRIAL parks are often characterised by heavy machineries and cargo trucks dominating the landscape, but AME Development Sdn Bhd is changing all that with its i-Park design.

The Johor developer has built i-Park@ Indahpura, the first holistically managed industrial park in Iskandar Malaysia.

Covering over 230 acres of freehold land, this premier industrial development contains fully integrated amenities that address such issues as sustainability, functionality and usability.

By integrating world-class infrastructure, master planning, and a clean and green concept, the developer has ensured that the industrial estate is fitted with amenities that will allow companies to flourish.

Clients receive the best quality infrastructure, from high-speed fibre-optic broadband to optimum power supply as well as water and natural gas utilities.

Features such as gated and guarded 24-hour security control, perimeter fencing, patrols, access cards for fast-lane service, and an in-house security team go a long way to ensure safety and security of i-Park.

It also has a recreational park containing a 581-metre jogging track and outdoor gym equipment, plus two retention ponds beautified with lush greenery. Within walking distance is a well-managed workers dormitory, which takes care of human welfare.

Green in every way

The emphasis on green buildings is aimed at promoting sustainability of the environment and construction as well as moving towards a low-carbon community.

The i-Park buildings are designed according to the green building concept with high quality finish from facade to interior to ensure maximum efficiency and sustainability.

Every attention is given to promoting productivity, comfort and a healthy lifestyle including reducing wastage, reusing vital materials, and recycling natural resources.

As a Green Building Index (GBI) certified development, i-Park uses high recycle content materials during construction which helps to reduce wastage of energy and raw materials as well as greenhouse gas emissions.

By understanding clients’ requirements and expectations, AME has developed i-Park as an integrated industrial park that offers sustainable management planning with flexible designs and an in-house maintenance team to upkeep the development in tip-top condition.

The development incorporates landscape concepts to achieve an eco-friendly environment. To further promote the green initiative, AME has planned lush landscaping amid factory lots besides planting trees and palms within the development.

The plants and trees act as natural shade for the surrounding buildings, thereby minimising solar heat and lowering the temperature within.

For the efficient use of water resources, a 220 gallon rainwater harvesting system is installed in every factory for irrigation and general washing purposes which helps to reduce the consumption of potable water.

AME HAS DEVELOPED I-PARK AS AN INTEGRATED INDUSTRIAL PARK THAT OFFERS SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT PLANNING WITH FLEXIBLE DESIGNS AND AN IN- HOUSE MAINTENANCE TEAM TO UPKEEP THE DEVELOPMENT IN TIP-TOP CONDITION.
