Strengthening foreign ties and participating in more development projects in the works
Real estate agency The Roof Realty Sdn Bhd (TRR) is charting an ambitious course for expansion, aiming to broaden its footprint both domestically and internationally. The company plans to enter new markets in Kelantan and Terengganu locally and Hainan in China, Singapore and Indonesia internationally.
“We aim to strengthen the ties with foreign partners and participate in more development projects,” said TRR founder and group managing director Datuk Nicholas Yap during TRR’s recent annual gala dinner held at MITEC Kuala Lumpur.
By fostering these international collaborations, TRR expects to enhance its market presence and leverage new opportunities, he said. “We have over 3,000 qualified and certified real estate agents across Malaysia, sufficient to serve the Malaysian market. We are committed to providing an excellent customer experience. From pre-sales consultations to after-sales service, we offer timely and professional support to our clients. We believe these strengths are enough to earn the recognition and trust of our customers, allowing us to maintain a leading position in the market,” Yap said.
“In the second half of 2023, we achieved a total transaction value of RM7.9 billion, with the annual transaction value reaching RM13.6 billion, setting a new record for the company,” he said.
TRR director Ivan Chong highlighted that in 2023, the company had successfully cultivated 39 real estate agents who each earn over a million annually.
Director Jerry See added: “In the past, we have been seen as an ordinary real estate agency, but we have not only established a clear vision but also become pioneers of innovation. Our company focuses on digital technology, not just concerning the current state of technology, but also setting new industry standards and leading the industry into the future.”
A key component of TRR’s strategy is its significant investment in technology and real estate research. The company is set to officially launch its Property AI technology by the end of this year. This innovative tool is designed to help real estate agents quickly and accurately match properties with customers, streamlining the buying process and enhancing customer satisfaction. The forthcoming Property AI technology is anticipated to be a groundbreaking tool in the real estate market, setting TRR apart from its competitors.
TRR has not only achieved its primary goals set at the beginning of the year but has also exceeded expectations in several areas. Notably, project sales have grown by more than 50%, greatly surpassing initial forecasts. This impressive performance underscores the company's robust growth and effective strategic planning.
During the gala dinner themed TRR Dynasty, a total of 2,000 property agents from across the country came together to witness their peers in being recognised under categories like Agent Of The Year, Leader Of The Year, Nationwide Top Group and Top Branch, Group and Branch KPI, Top Sales Champion Award, ATLP Training Programme and many other outstanding recognitions. In addition to recognising and appreciating outstanding team members,TRR gave away lucky draw prizes worth RM1mil, including cash prize amounting to RM500,000 and a luxury Mercedes Benz C300.
