KUALA LUMPUR: Giving Malaysians the trifecta of entertainment, sports and food, Sunsuria Foodiethon crossover running with stars saw 3,500 participants flocked to Sunsuria City Celebration Centre, Putrajaya South on Sunday.

The second instalment of Sunsuria Foodiethon saw runners enjoying the fun run of five km or seven km within the township of Sunsuria City. The finishing line was dotted with 30 scrumptious food trucks.

The event was presented by Sunsuria Bhd and organised by Jazzy Group.

The registration fee, combined with the contribution of Sunsuria Bhd, has totaled to RM30,000 and was donated to Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation.

The donation was presented by Sunsuria Bhd executive chairman Datuk Ter Leong Yap.

This year, the event saw Hong Kong’s TVB stars Rosina Lam, Joel Chan and Mandy Wong alongside local celebrities Aisha Ilias, Nasha Aziz, Joanne Yew and Sazzy Falak sweating it out with participants at the run.

The main sponsors include Scoop de pool, Yeo’s, Nanopac, Beaute Mori, Prolife and Centro Hair Salon. Renault, the official car sponsor of the event, also provided shuttle ride service for the participants.

To promote fun and healthy lifestyle as part and parcel of making the township a livable destination in the future, Sunsuria Bhd will be organising more events and activities at Sunsuria City Celebration Centre.
