SHAH ALAM: Eco World Development Group Bhd’s Eco Ardence project has recorded a strong take-up rate of 85% for its first phase since its September launch.
The first phase comprised 432 units of semi-Ds and bungalows, priced from RM1.3mil to RM3mil.
Meanwhile, Phase 2, which is also made up of semi-D and bungalow units, will be launched in the first half of 2017.
“We expect Phase 1 of Eco Ardence to be sold out within the financial year ending March 31, 2017. Eco Ardence consists of four phases of landed and residential properties, which will be progressively launched in eight to 10 years.
“The properties will be complemented by commercial developments such as shoplots, office towers, serviced apartments and even a hospital, seeing that there are insufficient hospitals in the vicinity,” said Eco Ardence Sdn Bhd general manager Liew Tian Xiong at the opening of the Eco Ardence sales gallery here.
Located on 533 acres, the freehold Eco Ardence township is a joint venture between Eco World and Cascara Sdn Bhd. Eco Ardence has a gross development value of RM8.58bil.
Eco World aimed to achieve the Green Building Index Certified Township status for Eco Ardence, with prioritised conservation efforts.
For example, mature trees in the vicinity will be relocated and replanted, while homes will be equipped with eco-friendly features like solar water heaters and rainwater harvesting tanks.
Eco World president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said that the response for Eco Ardence had been encouraging, being an ideal township for upgraders.
“We see huge potential for this market from surrounding mature developments such as Klang, Setia Alam and Subang Jaya.
“With the sales gallery up and running, we will be able to showcase Eco Ardence to more people and serve customers with our warm Eco World hospitality,” said Chang.
The sales gallery is located before Setia Alam and has a built-up area of 13,500 sq ft.
It boasts an event hall, gourmet kitchen, office, amenities, landscaping and open air carpark.
Products being previewed at the sales gallery included Pavilion Homes, bungalows and semi-D units.
Eco Ardence is accessible via the New Klang Valley Expressway, the Federal Highway, the Elite Highway and the Guthrie Corridor.
