PETALING JAYA: SP Setia recently introduced “Bangsar Market by Jaya Grocer”, which will be opened for business at KLEC Mall.
Bangsar Market will be situated at level two of the mall, occupying the entire floor which measures 54,000 sq ft.
“Inspiration for this concept came from internationally-renowned markets such as Camden Market and Borough Market in London and the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne,” said SP Setia divisional general manager Tony Ling at the unveiling of the Bangsar Market by Jaya Grocer held at the Setia International Centre (SIC).
Bangsar Market will have sections where customers will be able to watch delicacies like sushi, smoked salmon and fresh pasta being prepared right before their eyes before purchasing these items.
“There is also a challenge of catering to an unprecedented level of sophistication as there is a growing demand from both local and expatriate customers for special ingredients and delicacies. At Bangsar Market, we want to be able to serve all these customers.” Ling added.
The five-storey mall is slated to be open in the first quarter of 2018.
