PENANG: SP Setia Bhd has announced the launch of its latest phase, Setia Suria, which features freehold, single-storey terraced homes within the vibrant 1961-acre township of Setia Fontaines in Kepala Batas, Penang.
Setia Suria spans an impressive 49.55 acres and will consist of a total of 333 units. The project will be divided into two sub-phases, with 154 units from the first sub-phase set to be introduced at this weekend's launch. The second sub-phase, which includes 179 units, is expected to be launched in the near future.
With a total gross development value (GDV) of RM280mil, Setia Suria is anticipated to be completed by December 2026. The homes will feature spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom layouts, ranging from 1,189 sq ft to 1,221 sq ft, with prices starting from RM430,000 onwards.
"We will continue to launch our popular products such as the single-storey terraced homes at Setia Suria. We are optimistic that this phase will perform as well as our previous successful launches in Setia Fontaines, which are nearly all fully sold,” said SP Setia divisional general manager Datuk Muhamad Zaili Muhammad Yusof.
"With its modern design, we believe these units will resonate well with young couples and families looking to settle in Penang and its surrounding areas. Overall, we see strong potential for value appreciation, benefiting from the mature community around us,” he added.
Setia Suria is part of the established mixed township of Setia Fontaines, which has seen various successful launches since 2018, including the fully sold City Centre Business Hub, NusaCinta Phases 1 and 2 and Amansara South. The most recent launch, Amansara North, has already achieved 88% and 70% take-up rates across its sub-phases.
Noteworthy attractions within the township include the fully operational Setia Experience Centre (SEC), a beautiful 63-acre lake and the expansive 37-acre Penang Heritage Park. The freehold township is also well-connected with access to the Setia Fontaines Link Road and Ring Road.
