Everyone on Earth has a responsibility to protect the planet that gives and sustains life.
With that in mind, StarProperty.my has collaborated with Community Recycle for Charity (CRC) to bring to the StarProperty.my fair at Mid Valley Convention Centre a recycling campaign that is completely free and open to the public. This unmissable fair runs from May 18th until May 20th and as a community, this is how we can begin to take small actions as an effort to slow down the effects of the rapidly deteriorating environment.
Anyone can easily join and be a part of this campaign just by donating 5 items from one of the following groups; 5 pieces of clothing, 5 pieces of plastic bottles or plastic bags, or 5 aluminium cans. The process is quick and simple! Once you have donated your old and used items, you will receive a RM 5 Cash Voucher that can be redeemed on the purchase of a plant.
CRC is a non-profit organization that is passionate about serving the community by expanding on the environmentally friendly practice of recycling. Recycling not only decreases wastage but also reduces water pollution, preserves landfill spaces, prevents global warming, and protects our local wildlife. This is a small action that every one of us can take to drastically reduce our carbon footprint and, at the same time, be able to help the people in need.
By participating in this recycling campaign run by Community Recycle for Charity and StarProperty.my, you can play your part in improving the community’s standard of life. The people in need get to keep your donated old clothes; the plastic bags, bottles, and aluminium cans are sold to raise funds for CRC to continue making an impact on people’s lives. The entire sale total of the donated items will be put towards fulfilling the wish lists of charity homes and school projects for children.
Alongside the recycling campaign, CRC will be conducting a flower vase making workshop at the StarProperty.my fair where you would only need to bring one plastic bottle and one plastic bag. This workshop will teach us how easy it is to reuse the items in our home that would usually be harmful to the environment and turn them into something beautiful and something that can support life.
