KUALA LUMPUR: SkyWorld Development Group is working together with Maybank Islamic to give greater flexibility to buyers of its properties via the banks’s easy home ownership plan HouzKEY.

This financing is made available under the developer’s program ‘SkyHome’, allowing homebuyers to purchase selected SkyWorld properties at a minimal initial cost as well as low monthly repayments for the first five years.

The official ceremony was held on July 1, at SkyWorld Property Gallery, Setapak. “We are very excited to be partnering with Maybank on this program. This is an alternative financing solution for an easy homeownership journey, and I believe it will help many young people to own their dream homes,” said Lee.

“Usually, their biggest concerns will be the large initial payment, and this financing solution gives them the ease to own a SkyWorld home with zero down payments. Should they decide to purchase it later, they will purchase it at today’s locked-in price,” he added.

Two projects under SkyHome that are made available for the financing package are SkyMeridien, Sentul and Bennington Residence at SkyArena, Setapak.

Both projects are located strategically within kilometres from the city centre and surrounded by matured neighbourhoods. SkyMeridien is located 300m to Sentul Timur LRT Station whereas Bennington is located next to a multi-storey and multi-facility SkyArena Sports Complex.

“I urge home seekers, especially first-time homebuyers, to seize this opportunity as this financing program will help ease their financial burden,” said Lee.

“In fact, the [initial] low monthly payments with a gradual increase in the future allow homebuyers to have better cash flow. I am confident with this financing solution, and it is definitely too good to be missed,” Lee added.

Lye said: “We are happy that our HouzKEY product is now available for SkyWorld projects. In line with the bank’s mission in humanising financial services, it is important for us to continue lending support to Malaysians in their homeownership journey.” 

“With HouzKEY, we believe that more people are able to own homes without the burden of the high upfront cost and enjoy better cash flow,” she said. The home financing plan for selected SkyHome projects runs until the selected units have been sold.
