KUALA LUMPUR: City developer SkyWorld Development Group has unveiled its newest township, SkySanctuary, in established Setapak. The development is targeted towards homeowners looking to live in the core of Kuala Lumpur, albeit within an expanse where greenery meets everyday amenities.
SkySanctuary will play host to five park-front residences, a two-storey commercial parcel dubbed Square Park, a food and beverages drive-through area, two public-accessible parks and the Central Park.
The resident-exclusive Central Park is around three acres, and it resides in the core of the 42-acre township.
SkyWorld Development Group deputy chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said: “We have named our newest township SkySanctuary as we want to fashion a green cocoon for residents to escape from the city’s fast pace and aspire to thrive amongst the gifts of mother nature.”
Out of the many residential phases of SkySanctuary, the first to be unveiled is EdgeWood Residences, a two-block property, which is to be built on 3.79 acres of land.
Fronting SkySanctuary’s Central Park, EdgeWood features 960 units with layouts ranging from 865 sq ft to 1,280sq ft. The residence comes complete with resort-like facilities shared between three levels, featuring a hot and cold water cabin spa gallery, an edgeless infinity pool, an outdoor gym, working spaces and even electric vehicle charging points, among others.
Square Park is the only commercial hub within SkySanctuary, a two-storey commercial building featuring cafes and hand-picked retail outlets that boasts a net leasable area of 72,703 sq ft.
It is targeted for completion by the end of 2021 and shall be located next to the public-accessible Blossom Park, providing retail services to visitors.
