KUALA LUMPUR: The first phase of SkyArena's road-widening efforts along Jalan Ayer Jerneh in Setapak has been completed.
City developer SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) contributed RM30mil toward the corporate social responsibility initiative to improve traffic flow within mature Setapak and provide ease of access.
The road expansion has enhanced infrastructure in the vicinity; significantly smoothening traffic flow within the SkyArena development, crucial for the success of the township. Residents of the locale now enjoy improved access to the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway.
SkyArena is a wellness-focused development that spans 28 acres in Setapak. The expanse encases residential components, a multi-storey sports complex and commercial parcels such as a mall, retail lots, small-office, home office (SoHo) units and hotel.
Due to the massive influx of developments in the vicinity, infrastructure improvements had to take place upon the existing routes available that would connect SkyArena to the other parts of Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley.
The second phase is targeted for completion by next year.
