KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property, the leader in developing sustainable communities, recorded a 95% take-up rate of its newly launched Elmina Valley Phase 1 residential properties on Saturday, February 27. The units were snapped up within a day, reflecting strong demand for residential units within the RM600,000 price range.
A total of 324 residential homes out of the 341 units offered were taken up at the launch. They were sold through a balloting process with 495 registered interested buyers.
The successful sales is attributed to a strong demand for residential products at the City of Elmina, a 5,000-acre development of adjoining townships with a Gross Development Value of RM18 billion. Competitive pricing which caters to the needs of the public was also a factor in the impressive take-up rate.
Elmina Valley Phase 1 comprises of double-storey link homes at the City of Elmina. The two-storey link homes with a minimum built-up area of 1,709 sf is located adjacent to the 300-acre Elmina Central Park and the Elmina River.
Sime Darby Property Managing Director, Dato’ Ir. Jauhari Hamidi said, “We would like to extend our appreciation to our customers for their Elmina Valley Phase 1 purchases. The overwhelming response that we have received signifies the confidence from the public in our products and belief in the potential of our development."
He added that the 95% take-up shows that despite the challenges in the property market, the right product and pricing will always appeal to consumers. The public can look forward to more offerings from Sime Darby Property in the City of Elmina, with the Elmina Valley Phase 2 rolling out very soon.
The City of Elmina includes townships of Denai Alam, Bukit Subang, Elmina East and Elmina West. Located along the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, the City of Elmina offers seamless inter-connectivity and accessibility.
Among City of Elmina’s charming features are the 300-acre Elmina Central Park and a 90-kilometer cycling and jogging track, one of the longest track in the country, plus a wellness community complex for the community’s social activity needs.
