ARA DAMANSARA: Sime Darby Property Bhd has launched its Jom Raya festive campaign with a Hari Raya film that places a focus on its urban biodiversity initiatives. The short film depicts human and animal migrations during festive periods, connecting sustainable living and the significance of fostering an environment with both humans and wildlife.
“With this campaign, we aim to raise awareness of the need to conserve urban biodiversity and constantly explore new approaches to sustainable development. As a force for good, we look forward to building greener and more liveable townships where our communities and nature can thrive alongside each other,” Sime Darby Property chief marketing and sales officer Datuk Lai Shu Wei said.
As part of its sustainability efforts, Sime Darby Property has set a target to collect 72 tonnes of recyclable materials by the end of 2024.
The Jom Raya campaign includes the Go Green – Let’s Celebrate Raya Sustainably initiative, with Sime Darby Property’s largest fabric collection drive to date. Fabric collection drives were organised across Sime Darby townships such as Putra Heights, Serenia City and KL East, with the support of Kloth Circularity. The campaign has received approximately 7,000 kg of fabric from March 16 to March 31, 2024.
“We make an effort to go above and beyond what is required of us to improve the customer experience, foster resilient communities and take them on a positive and fulfilling journey. Through the Jom Raya campaign, we are alleviating buyers’ concerns and instilling confidence, on top of facilitating hassle-free ownership experiences,” Lai said.
Within the period, the developer is also offering interest rates starting from 3.7% and rewards worth up to RM140,000 when they purchase Sime Darby Property units.
