THE owners of a row of shops in Jalan 11/62A, Bandar Menjalara, Kuala Lumpur, are against Kuala Lumpur City Hall's (DBKL) decision to approve a ramp to a nearby 24-storey condominium, which is being built now.
The ramp will affect the business of the shops operating here.
In fact, a 1.2m-high wall to facilitate the building of the ramp has already been constructed at the back of two shoplots, preventing access to the backlane and infringing the property rights of the owners of those two lots.
The shopowners have tried to contact DBKL to find out how such a plan was approved but were given the runaround.
