PETALING JAYA: Despite the rather soft property market sentiment, demand for quality houses that are affordably priced is still good and developers should build more such projects.
At the five-day StarProperty.my Fair that starts from tomorrow at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, participating developers will be displaying their affordable projects.
Seri Pajam Development’s Seri Pajam in Nilai is one such development. Its latest offering, Citra Embun Apartment with built-ups from 956 sq ft, are being sold from RM288,900.
Seri Pajam Development chief financial officer Tey Soo Leng said the project was in line with the firm’s mission to provide affordable homes that are practical and comfortable.
“We want first-time buyers to be able to afford our property and yet enjoy an excellent home, good lifestyle and connectivity,” he said.
Other developers featuring affordable developments include Putra Nilai Deve-lopment Sdn Bhd, with its project Jati Heights in Nilai consisting of double-storey terraced (Thalia) and three-storey townhouses (Adina) selling from RM376,000.
Lodge Residence student apartments, also in Nilai, is another project with a low entry price tag of just RM75,000 for a 143 sq ft unit.
The units are ready and with Certificate of Completion and Compliance awarded.
The fair, supported by premium partner Tropicana Corp Bhd, will also see the participation of UEM Sunrise Bhd, SP Setia Bhd, Sunsuria Bhd, Maju Kuala Lumpur, Paramount Property, Mah Sing Group Bhd, Setia Haruman Bhd, D-Hill Sdn Bhd, Gamuda Land, LBS Bina Group Bhd, Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, MRCB and OIB.
Early bird registrants online will get to enjoy free subscription of The Star e-Paper for three months, while online registrants who attend the fair have a chance to win a mystery gift.
Visitors to the fair stand a chance to win a home via the Win A Home (WAH) campaign. Activities of the WAH campaign include counting the WAH logos and a crossword puzzle.
The fair will open at 10am until 10pm daily at the lower ground and ground floor of IOI City Mall.
