PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property Bhd (SDP) has signed five anchor tenants for its upcoming Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) Mall. The mall is located in the KLGCC Resort, next to the Sime Darby Convention Centre and is set to open at Q32025.
“The addition of KLGCC Mall cements the evolution of our flagship Kuala Lumpur development, which complements the existing convention centre, golf course, office tower, and mid high-rise residential projects,” said group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Azmir Merican.
“This mall reflects our strategic positioning as a real estate development company, with retail playing a pivotal role as a key investment sector under our long-term recurring income strategy. We value the trust our anchor tenants have placed in us and envision the mall becoming a preferred destination for businesses to thrive,” he added.
The five anchor tenants, namely Jaya Grocer, Serai Group, HarborLand Malaysia, ACE Hardware and , bring a diverse offering mix.
SDP also announces other food and beverage outlets such as El Ocho, Fat Tea, and Maruki Ramen, alongside popular establishments such as Kay's Steak and Lobster, Pepper Lunch and ParaThai Signature.
The mall has a gross floor area (GFA) of 600,000 sq ft, with 70% of the space already occupied.
