The developer of a nearby housing area agreed to provide the needed land, state exco member Datuk Dr Leong Yong Kong said after handing over the letter from the company to the school authorities.
Kedah MIC chief Jaspal Singh, who was present at the letter handing-over ceremony, said RM3.5mil in funding for the school is available under the Socio-Economic Development of Indian Community.
Junior doctors in the medical college hospital said they noticed something wrong when a patient got distressed while receiving a transfusion.
The doctors claimed the blood packets seemed to have been tampered with, and the expiry dates changed with a pen.
The college and hospital management had at first defended the blood bank, but later ordered an investigation when the pressure intensified.
