PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) group managing director Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din has been named Property Icon of the Year at the Pangkor Dialogue Awards 2016.

The property development and construction group said in a statement that the award was presented by Perak state government’s public policy think-tank Institut Darul Ridzuan in conjunction with the Pangkor Dialogue 2016.

“The award recognises Tan Sri Mohamad Salim’s long list of accomplishments in the Malaysian property and construction sector over the last 30 years, and particularly since he took over the helm of MRCB in late 2013,” said the KL Sentral Central Business District developer.

Speaking after receiving the award from Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Mohamad Salim said: “I am very honoured to receive this award from the IDR which is testimony of the industry’s recognition of not only me but also of all property developers that continue to innovate and promote sustainable, energy efficient buildings for the future growth of the country.”
