KUALA LUMPUR: Rehda Institute, the training and research arm of the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (Rehda), will be hosting a strata management webinar, designed specifically for developers.
The Do’s and Don’ts of Strata Management during the Preliminary Management Period webinar is slated to be held on June 30 from 9am to 12.45pm via Zoom, a leader in modern enterprise video communications.
The webinar will provide participants with valuable insights pertaining to the management restrictions among the developer, joint management body (JMB) and management corporation (MC), strata owners, and other relevant professionals.
Being better informed means that developers can avoid commonly made mistakes, which can be costly to rectify, said Chee Hoe and Associates partner Lai Chee Hoe.
The webinar will be divided into two sessions, he said. Session 1 is on the extent of powers granted to a developer during the preliminary management period, and session 2 is on whether a developer can introduce new by-laws to suit its development area during the preliminary management period.
Lai, who is the speaker at the webinar, said the most current case laws would be discussed during the webinar to bring developers up to date on the latest strata management issues.
The webinar registration fee for a Rehda member is RM138 or RM188 for non-members. Discounts in group registrations are available. For Rehda members, the registration fee for a group of three is RM98 per pax, while for non-members, it is RM148 per pax.
