OVERNIGHT pipe works in north Seberang Prai and Butterworth will start on Saturday after being postponed due to flooding, said Penang Water Supply Corporation chief executive officer Datuk Jaseni Maidinsa.
“The 12-hour water supply interruption was supposed to start on Sunday (yesterday) but has been postponed due to Friday’s floods,” he said in a statement on Saturday.
Jaseni reminded residents to store water for the water supply interruption which will last from 10pm on Saturday until 10am the next day.
The interruption is to enable the installation of a pressure reducing valve in Jalan Pekan Darat.
