WHAT better way to view the property you are considering to buy than through a bird’s eye view from a helicopter?
Around 180 existing customers and potential buyers signed up for the free helicopter ride at the Setia Open Day in Setia Eco Park, Setia Alam.
This was to celebrate Setia Eco Park’s very first eco-centric semi-D and bungalow development since 2004.
Visitors had an aerial view of the green expanses of Setia Eco Park and its 25 award-winning pocket gardens, as well as a sneak preview of its latest pride – a hybrid waterfall at Elizabeth Falls, powered by solar panels.
S P Setia Bhd executive vice-president Datuk Koe Peng Kang said the terrain was not cut when constructing the waterfalls. It was fashioned around the existing natural landscape.
“We always want to be the pioneer and are proud to build Malaysia’s first hybrid waterfall.
“The waterfall is designed to provide an optical illusion; whether you move to the left or right, it would seem as though the water flow is following you.
“It provides peace of mind, you feel as though you are on a holiday,” he said.
The waterfall is scheduled to be completed in two months to commemorate the launch of the company’s newest properties – The Hacienda and The Elizabeth Falls Signature Bungalows.
The Hacienda is an enclave of Spanish colonial-style semi-detached houses located in Phase 17.
There are 52 units with an average built-up area of 3,400sq ft. It is the last phase that offers the Setia 10:90 scheme with prices starting at RM2mil.
The Elizabeth Falls Signature Bungalows located at Phase 16B are private and exclusive as there are only 12 units. The average built-up area is between 2,800sq ft and 3,400sq ft. Prices start at RM2.6mil.
Aside from the helicopter tour, there were free buggy rides, balloon dart games and light refreshments. The children also enjoyed face-painting.
Also present at the open day were S P Setia Group marketing general manager Dianne Chan and Setia Eco Park general manager Desmond Ong.
There will be another event at the Setia Alam Welcome Centre on Sept 16 and 17, and at the Setia Ecohill Welcome Centre on Sept 17.
Visitors can also enjoy a private sailing tour at the Setia Eco Glades sales gallery from Sept 16 to Oct 1.
