BRIDES and grooms looking for an elegant wedding venue will be pleased with Convention 33@Lot 33.
They can celebrate their special day there with a crowd from 150 to 1,000.
Located at the sub-basement level of Atrium B known as Lot 33 in Prangin Mall, Penang, the convention hall has hosted over 500 events since it opened to the public four years ago.
Its 15,000sq ft layout is made up of four halls separated by partitions that can be removed.
Its main stage has an LED screen that measures 2.7m high and 4.9m wide

Lot 33 marketing director Jack H’ng said that they provide eight-course Chinese dinner packages from RM688 nett per table of 10 persons with a minimum of 15 tables.
“The wedding package also comes with tables, chairs, decorations, Roman-style pillars, arches, red carpet, cake and champagne.
“As for other types of events, the hall rental comes with tables, chairs and a public address system.
“Those who wish to bring in their own caterer can do so,” he said on those who prefer halal or vegetarian food.
He said that Convention 33@Lot 33 is almost fully booked every weekend in November and December.
“Some have even booked for 2019,” he said, urging people to make their bookings as early as possible.
H’ng said the venue provides services for events such as weddings, seminars, meetings, conferences, graduations, prom nights, lunches or dinners, birthday parties, corporate events, exhibitions and galas.
Enquiry hours are from 10am to 7pm, Mondays to Fridays, and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
