RESIDENTS of Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur want road markings painted on the newly resurfaced Jalan Sri Hartamas 1 as soon as possible.
Resurfacing work on two stretches of the road has made driving much smoother but the lack of markings makes it dangerous.
Sri Hartamas resident Freddie Chew said the resurfacing was completed in early June.
“It is dangerous to drive at night, especially for those who are new to the road.
“There are also three road humps but no signs to indicate this,” he said.
Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng said the resurfaced stretch starts from the Immigration Department until Gate 3 of Istana Negara, and from Plaza Damas to the traffic light junction.
“The Duta Nusantara Manage-ment Corporation lodged a complaint with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) on June 9 but nothing has been done.
“I will keep reminding DBKL until it is done,” he said.
