PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Golf and Country Resort (TGCR) launched its annual Ramadhan buffet last night, offering a Santapan 29 Malam, Selera Muhibbah Iftar spread with over 200 dishes and 23 live cooking stations.
The opening night included a showcase of signature dishes from local to international cuisine.
In partnership with Tropicana Foundation, TGCR co-hosted children from orphanage homes, namely Pusat Tahfiz Darus Syabab, Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Kasih, Rumah Sentuhan Budi and Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Kasih Bistari during the buffet.
“In continuing our mantra of Redefining the Art of Living, Caring and Sharing, we invited 107 children from four homes to buka puasa with us. This has been our practice for more than 10 years. We are pleased to continue this charity tradition and we want to spread the joy of our Ramadhan buffet to every layer of society," TGCR executive director Yew Kong Chee said.
Alongside the buffet, the children were given goodie bags with duit raya and daily essential goods.
The buffet spread will be open until April 7, 2024, including ghazal performances and an authentic kampung house as the entrance. The buffet is available for public and private events with tickets ranging from RM75 for children and RM158 for non-members.
