PETALING JAYA: After weeks of tabulation, property developer Tropicana Corp Bhd announced the six winners of its Tropicana Dream Investment Campaign. It was ‘a dream investment comes true’ for the six lucky winners, who gained more than RM2.3 million when they won the chance to purchase Tropicana prime properties at half of its listed selling price.
Head of marketing and sales Ms Ung Lay Ting said, “The one-of-a-kind dream investment campaign is part of the Group’s latest initiative to further engage with our customers and the community via digital and online platform. It took us weeks to tabulate the results and gave us the wonderful opportunity to understand our customers’ needs and why they choose to invest in Tropicana’s properties”.
The dream investment campaign was launched on March 6 and ended on April 16, 2015. The contest was hosted on Tropicana's Facebook page. During the six-week contest period, Facebook fans of Tropicana were given an insight into Tropicana’s DNA consisting of accessibility, connectivity, innovative concepts and designs, generous open spaces, amenities, facilities, multi-tiered security and quality. Contestants then selected their favourite Tropicana property and shared their Tropicana dream investment campaign posts. During the contest period, Tropicana also gave away iPad mini, iPad air, iMac, MacBook and Samsung Galaxy Note for its weekly quiz winners and highest social media shares on Facebook.
The six lucky winners who won the chance to purchase prime Tropicana properties at half of its listed selling price are:

- Week 2: Ms Helen Lee – Tropicana Heights, Kajang, listed at RM835,800
- Week 3: Mr Narentharen A/L Selvarajah – Arena Mentari, Bandar Sunway, listed at RM788,800
- Week 4: Mr Vun Siew Fui – Tropicana Metropark, Subang Jaya. listed at RM561,000
- Week 5: Mr Kelvin John Nathan – Tropicana Avenue, Petaling Jaya, listed at RM959,900
- Week 6: Madam Chiam Ah Moy – Tropicana Cheras, Cheras listed, at RM747,520
