Marimo creates quaint high-rise in mature Puchong
Marimo Land Sdn Bhd is constructing a boutique residential development dubbed Ohako in the heart of mature Puchong.
This property is the brainchild of the developer which is in the midst of expanding land banks across Malaysia and at the same time keen to brand itself as a prominent name in South-East Asia.
Marimo grew from humble beginnings in Hiroshima, Japan, through a company named AI Architectural Design Co Ltd which was established in 1971 and specialised in the creation of high-rise condominiums for the middle class.
Puchong, the home of Marimo’s pioneer development Ohako, is an ideal location because it is one of the biggest towns in the Klang Valley populated by middle-income earners. This advantageous site is at the mid-point between Subang and Petaling Jaya.
Ohako, Japanese for “box of surprises”, is a two-tower high-rise that will be developed over 4.375 acres of freehold commercial land.
Launched in October 2015, Tower A is fully taken up while Tower B is 70% sold.
The property sells from RM450,000 per unit with an attractive package and is targeted for completion by 2019.
Buyers can choose from three unit configurations.
Type X is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with a built-up area of 815 sq ft. Type Y is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with a layout of 955 sq ft. Type Z has three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus balcony and is sized at 1,002 sq ft.
Ohako differs significantly from other high-rise developments due to its large facility area, water filtration system implemented throughout the development, the latest waterproofing technology in building design, an available rooftop as well as a unique lobby balcony with a random square design.
Once completed, the residents of Ohako will be able to enjoy essential amenities around the development.
The property is 10 to 15 minutes away from Giant, Tesco, IOI Mall Puchong and several LRT stations.
As for healthcare, popular establishments such as Sunway Medical Centre and Columbia Asia are located 15 to 20 minutes from the development.
Getting to and from the development is easy because it is connected to other townships of the Klang Valley through the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and Kesas Highway.
