PETALING JAYA: Star Residences KLCC recently saw the topping up ceremony of its 58th floor.
According to press release, the topping-up ceremony was attended by Alpine Return Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Azman Yahya, United Malayan Land Bhd executive deputy chairman Datuk Ng Eng Tee, group managing director Dennis Ng, Alpine Return Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Alan Koh, Samsung C&T executive vice president John Chang and Ahmad Abdelrazaq.
Star Residences is part of the Star Development, a mixed development offering residential and retail units with a 57-storey tower and two 58-storey towers.
The four-acre (1.62ha) development is located on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng in the KLCC Central Business District of Kuala Lumpur with a gross development value of RM3bil.
The developer, Alpine Return Sdn Bhd, is a 50:50 joint venture company between established Malaysian property developers, Symphony Life Bhd (previously known as Bolton Bhd) and United Malayan Land Bhd (UM Land).
The construction began end of 2014 and will be completed end of 2019. The last tower, Ascott Star, was launched a few months ago.
According to Azman, the overall Star Development project has taken shape on schedule within the construction timeline, with an exemplary safety record.
“I’m immensely proud of this milestone with zero accident, consistent quality standard and site safety standards,” Tan Sri Azman said.
The main construction partner of this development is Samsung C&T from Korea.
Chang said that the company had applied its construction technology expertise to the project to deliver a new level of luxury living to a Kuala Lumpur City Centre development.
