The tossing of 'lou sang' during the dinner 

PETALING JAYA: SP Setia hosted a Chinese New Year Dinner at the Sheraton Melbourne recently.

The highlight of the event was the presence of Masterchef international celebrity chef Shannon Bennet and his wife, actress Madeline West. The couple tossed the “lou sang” together with Australian Masterchef champion 2017, Malaysian-born Diana Chan.

“The rich Malaysian Chinese custom and spirit has indeed spread to Australia. This vibrant and family oriented dinner, with a lion dance performance, is a yearly event by SP Setia,” said SP Setia Melbourne chief executive officer Choong Kai Wai in a statement.
